Q: How to delete / remove an offer?
A: We have added a new feature this year that enables you to “Abandon your Offer” at any phase of the process. This option is found on the submission page.
Q: Where do I find the “Agency Required” Specific forms I need to upload?
A: Agency required documents can be found on the “Agency Attachments” tab on the main screen.
Q: Should each offer contain the “Agency Specific” documents or is there a general area in the BFO app to upload those documents?
A: Agency documents are only required to be uploaded once, not per offer. You can upload them on the front screen that says “Agency attachments”.
Q: How to submit more than 5 performance measures.
A: You can put additional measures in a document file and upload them using the “File Upload” link.
Q: I didn’t realize I wouldn’t be able to go back and upload more attachments for our agency. Should I upload the remaining two under our offer?
A: To add more attachments at the Agency level, use Agency Attachments “List/Add/Edit”. You’ll see the attachments that are already part of the offer and can upload additional ones next to them.
Q: In years past there was a document that was a required component of the BFO process where the agency listed their funding history for the previous five years. This document wasn’t on the website to download and wasn’t listed in the Word doc that was disseminated.
A: Regarding 5-year Funding History Form – Budget removed the form call A4 because of the repetitive information provided which was the same as the A3 Form.
Q: Can you please provide any clarification on how to resolve the error below when submitting attachments?
A: To add an additional attachment(s) onto an agency, use “EDIT” instead of “ADD”. The above message appeared because the app sees the Agency Name as a duplicate because it already has “attachment” entries.
To upload more documents you have to go to “Agency Attachments”. Search for your agency and then hit ‘edit’ to add more
Q: Where do I go to pay the $50.00 fee for FY2020 BFO Offers online with a credit card. Can you point me to it?
A: You can find online payment link on the Resources tab of the site. You may also pay by going to the following link: https://paydirect.link2gov.com/ChattanoogaBusinessTax/ItemSelection/SelectItems
Q: My Non Profit Organization operates on a calendar year while the city operates on a fiscal year. Should I enter my 2018 budget ending in 12/31/18 in the Budget FY 2020 column; aka column D?
A: The A3 is the expected budget for funding to be used during Fiscal year period July 1 – June 30. (for historical numbers, you can use your calendar year, but for FY2020 Requests, it would be for the City’s fiscal period. The A3 Template is only the budget related to your offer only.
Q: Can I make changes to my offer after the January 9 deadline. I revisited the site, and I could only view the offers, but was unable to submit anything. WIll there still be time to revise the offers?
A: The site was only made available for the purpose of verifying submission of offers and those we received that were not in a “Submit/Complete Ready for Review” status. The site will not be reopened at this time. It will be reopened to allow for final submissions.
Questions Regarding Initial Offers Feedback / Final Offers:
Q: We have not yet received feedback on our two initial BFO submissions, and the March 9 Offer Revision deadline is fast approaching. I just wanted to check in to see if there was anything that I needed to do in order to get feedback.
A: If you did not receive feedback to your initial offer(s), this means you are good to continue as-is. Please remember all final offers must be submitted through the app, even with no changes. Please email email@example.com if you have any questions.
Q: I uploaded all the information the last time we submitted the offer. I don’t see any uploads when I view the offers. How do we know the supporting documents were received?
A: Attachments to Initial offers will not show on Final. Final offers have their own separate folder for attachments. It started out empty, so it will contain only the newly-uploaded attachments.
Q: I am trying to complete my Final Offer. I cannot edit, add new offer or do anything in the app.
A: Only thing you are allowed to edit is response information from feedback, measurements, and finance numbers for requests amounts
Q: I can’t seem to find our name when I go in to see what docs we’ve submitted. I know we submitted all of them, I’m just triple checking.
A: Documents that were uploaded during initial do not show in the final phase. If you did not receive an email from the BFO team, then you are good to go.
